Srebro wykorzystywane do produkcji biżuterii jest metalem szlachetnym, który na skutek kontaktu z powietrzem, wodą, potem i innymi czynnikami traci swój połysk, matowieje i ciemnieje. Dlatego ważne jest odpowiednie przechowywanie. Najlepiej jeśli biżuteria ma swoje specjalne miejsce gdzie nie będzie narażona na zbytnie nasłonecznienie oraz na mechaniczne uszkodzenia i otarcia. Bardzo dobrym nawykiem jest także trzymanie każdej ozdoby w osobnym plastikowym, zamykanym woreczku. Dzięki temu ogranicza się kontakt srebra z tlenem. Jeżeli natomiast chcemy przywrócić połysk biżuterii, która już zdążyła go utracić powinniśmy udać się do jubilera i poprosić o rade. Można oczywiście wyczyścić biżuterię w domu, wystarczy zapatrzeć się w płyn do czyszczenia biżuterii i zastosować się do zamieszczonej na nim instrukcji. Mogą to być także specjalne nasączane ściereczki. Jeżeli jednak przedmiot który chcemy wyczyścić składa się nie z samego srebra, warto zasięgnąć porady specjalisty gdyż każdy kamień, metal i inny materiał ma swoje specjalne wymogi i nie wszystkie nadają się do czyszczenia tym samym preparatem.

The best thing you can do is to put your jewelry in a special place where it will not be exposed to too much sun, mechanical damage and abrasion. A very good habit is to keep each piece in a separate plastic bag. This way you can limit the contact of silver with oxygen. However, if you want to restore the luster of your jewelry, you should go to the jeweler and ask for advice. Of course, you can clear the jewelry at home, you just need a special liquid jewelry cleaner and follow the instructions. I personnally do it with toothpaste and an old toothbrush. In the case of my earrings, you just need to clean the hooks.

PFLEGE VON SILBERSCHMUCK
Das Silber, das für die Herstellung von Schmuck benutzt wird ist ein Edelmetall, das bei Kontakt mit Luft, Wasser, und anderen Faktoren seinen Glanz verliert und mit der Zeit dunkler und matt wird. Daher ist es wichtig, auf die richtige Lagerung zu achten. Am besten ist es, wenn Sie Ihr Schmuck in einen besonderen Ort aufbewahren, wo keine Sonne scheint und wo es vor mechanische Beschädigung und Verschleiß geschützt ist. Eine gute Angewohnheit ist es, jedes Stück in einem kleinen Plastikbeutelchen zu geben. Dadurch vermeiden wir den Kontakt von Silber mit Sauerstoff. Und falls es zu spät scheint und Sie den Glanz wiederherstellen möchten, sollten Sie den Juwelier um Rat fragen. Natürlich können Sie den Schmuck auch selbst zu Hause „putzen“ entweder mit einer extra Flüssigkeit für Silberschmuck oder wie ich oft, einfach mit einer alten Zahnbürste und ein wenig Zahnpasta. In dem Fall putzen Sie natürlich nur die Hacken.

The name aventurine derives from the Italian "a ventura" meaning "by chance". It is also called "sunstone". Aventurine is a member of the quartz family. It is most commonly found in a forest green color, but can also be found in orange, brown, yellow, blue, and gray. Aventurine is easily characterized because it often has flecks of mineral inclusions that give it a sparkly look. Aventurine is found in many parts of the world including India, Brazil, and Russia.
Aventurine is often called the Lucky Talisman and is popular with gamblers and risk takers. It is believed to be an all purpose healing stone that promotes clear thinking and a positive attitude. Some other qualities of Aventurine are:
